What gases are detected in indoor air detection?

20-04-06

Indoor air quality inspection mainly includes benzene, TVOC, formaldehyde, radon, ammonia, etc. As far as the current situation is concerned, there are mainly the following aspects to be tested:

Benzene: benzene mainly exists in paint, and there are heat preservation boards. For example, polystyrene heat preservation boards are used in cold storage. Benzene is harmful to human body, but benzene volatilizes quickly. The general release period is six months to three years, and the intensive release period is three months. Therefore, benzene is also the main pollutant for indoor air detection. Generally, 1-3 points are detected at home, mainly in bedroom.

TVOC: total volatile organic compounds, in addition to formaldehyde and benzene, all kinds of volatile organic compounds harmful to human body, collectively referred to as TVOC. Generally, their emission is not large, so it is difficult to define exactly what pollutants are. In addition to formaldehyde and benzene, indoor pollution is generally classified as TVOC, such as chlorine, alkane and other pollution. To put it bluntly, other volatile organic compounds other than formaldehyde and benzene are very complex, and it is difficult to define exactly what they are. There is no specific international regulation on which substances they are. China mainly tests the content of xylene to define them. It's enough to check the indoor air in the family.

Formaldehyde: formaldehyde is the main indoor pollution source. Formaldehyde mainly exists in glue and paint, which has the characteristics of great harm to human body and long release cycle. Generally, the intensive release period is 3-5 years, and the real release period is 10-15 years. Moreover, the places where glue is used in the family are all in the board, such as cabinet and furniture, so it is the most harmful thing to human body. Indoor air Formaldehyde detection is generally required for gas detection.

Radon: radon is mainly related to radioactivity, which is generally not detected when indoor air is detected, because radon and radioactivity mainly come from stone and ceramic tile, while the stone sold on the market generally, except for some red stone, most of the other stone materials are up to the standard, that is to say, there are few cases of indoor radon and radioactivity exceeding the standard, so the indoor decoration of general families and office buildings is carried out Air detection this item does not need to be tested. Unless you live in a basement and you use a lot of concrete.

Ammonia: ammonia mainly exists in antifreeze. Generally, it needs to be used in winter construction in the north. However, since 2001, it has been banned by the state, so at present, there is generally no ammonia in the building that exceeds the standard, and the decoration generally does not bring ammonia that exceeds the standard. Therefore, after the decoration of families and companies, ammonia is not a necessary item for indoor air detection.
